William J. Mendrzycki

Bill concentrates his practice on complex products liability litigation, toxic tort and environmental litigation, and commercial litigation. Bill’s practice includes the representation of clients in the defense of product liability claims against manufacturers and suppliers, property owners in premises claims and businesses in consumer fraud claims. Bill has significant experience defending and advising clients in litigation matters and jury trials.

Bill is based out of the firm’s New York City office.  Bill has represented clients for 30 years in all phases of federal and state litigation, from pleadings through trial in New York & New Jersey with a concentration on matters venued in the New York City metropolitan area. Bill has tried cases in front of New York City juries and tried the first all issues trial for automotive parts manufacturer in the New York City Asbestos Litigation. Bill also served as defense liaison counsel for the New York City asbestos cases. In addition, Bill also oversees the firm’s New Jersey toxic tort, asbestos and commercial litigation practice.

Bill also serves as part of a national coordinating counsel team that manages toxic tort litigation throughout the United States. Prior to joining Cetrulo LLP, Bill had his own law firm in New York and was of counsel in the New Jersey office of a national law firm. He has served as Regional Coordinating Counsel and National Coordinating Counsel for a Fortune 100 company’s national toxic tort litigation.

In this role, Bill has coordinated discovery efforts for clients nationwide, developing and implementing overall defense strategies, deposing fact witnesses and experts, selecting, developing and preparing expert witnesses, developing and defending corporate witnesses, preparing cases for trial, and serving as First or Second Chair in trials.

Bill has supervised and participated in trials in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
