Theresa Timura is a Registered Nurse who focuses her Legal Nurse Consultant practice on providing invaluable consultation and expertise to attorneys regarding medical issues. Theresa has over 30 years of nursing experience with strong roots in clinical practice. As a Legal Nurse Consultant Certified,she applies the nursing process in evaluating complex information in legal cases.

Theresa assists in strategy and evaluation of medical-legal cases and claims, including Product Liability, Toxic Tort, and Environmental Cases. Theresa has the knowledge and connections to identify and recommend expert witnesses; and to screen and facilitate expert witness reviews. Theresa has the ability to evaluate case strengths and weakness, especially with regard to causation and damages issues. Theresa also has expertise in identification of record tampering and determining applicable Standards of Care.

Theresa is instrumental in educating attorneys and clients regarding medical issues, assisting with deposition preparation and support, and preparation for trial and alternative dispute resolution. Theresa is able to provide comprehensive reports that summarize relevant medical records while opining on key issues. Theresa also conducts relevant literature research and analysis.

When away from the office, Theresa enjoys spending time at the ocean, boating, and traveling, both abroad and to National Parks. Theresa enjoys attending Broadway performances, Opera, musical theater, and concerts. One of her favorite pastimes is preparing gourmet meals and entertaining with her family and friends.
