Partner Andrew McConville was recently approved to serve as an arbitrator for the Rhode Island Superior Court Annexed Arbitration Program. The Court Annexed Arbitration Program was created in 1988 to assist the Rhode Island Superior Court in disposing civil cases in an expedited manner and to provide a less expensive alternative to trial. As an arbitrator, Andrew will conduct arbitration hearings and determine awards for civil cases assigned by the court. Andrew has also served as a mediator for the Rhode Island Superior Court’s annual Settlement Week.
Andrew McConville is a Partner in the Toxic Tort group at Cetrulo LLP. Andrew has over 25 years of complex litigation experience – both as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps and in private practice. He appears regularly in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal courts and is responsible for the day to day management of the Rhode Island consolidated asbestos docket in the Firm’s role as court-appointed Defense Liaison Counsel.
