Mike Cahalane was invited by Northeastern University School of Law (NUSL) to speak in memory of the late Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Ralph Gants on Wednesday, September 23 2020. Cahalane served as a legal intern for Justice Gants while the judge was on the Superior Court. Cahalane, along with Governor Charlie Baker, NUSL Dean James Hackney, SJC Chief Justice Roderick Ireland (ret.), SJC Justice Fernande Duffly (ret.), Mass. Appeals Court Justice Diana Maldonado, and NUSL Professor Brook Baker, shared memories of Chief Justice Gants and celebrated his extraordinary life and career.
